The Best Autumn/Winter Interior Design Trends

If the changing seasons have you dreaming of a new cosy space, then maybe it’s time to reinvigorate your home. This Autumn/Winter the interior trends are all about bold statements. So whether it’s a complete style overhaul, or just introducing some new accessories, we have cu-rated our favourite trends for you to re-create at home.

About the blues…

We say ‘bye’ to neutrals and ‘hello’ to bold injections of colour. Our favourite standout palette is deep blues. Don’t be afraid of it’s bold and dark nature, it can instantly add character and elegance to any room, whether it be through a feature wall or some statement accessories.

Show your flamboyant side by pairing this with blush tones, rose gold and copper finishes. This will give your space an art deco edge which can be perfectly complimented by items from our Collection 150 range.

Love of Nature

Our love of indoor house plants and decorative foliage is growing. Why? Because recent studies show that indoor plants can help reduce stress, improve sleep and concentration. So, it’s time to turn your home into a peaceful retreat.

If you have a small space try adding small plants, such as Cacti, to your window ledge, on top of cabinets or wardrobes. If you have a bigger space, add in big plants in statement pots, and experiment with hanging baskets from your shelving space.

Don’t worry, this trend doesn’t have to be high maintenance, any homeware shop now has an abundance of faux-plants.

Return to the 70s

Retro is in. From rounded sofas, fringed furnishings, and bright velvets, this trend isn’t for the faint-hearted. Try pairing it back with subtle hints of the rustic orange colour palette, velvet textures and scallop shapes to create a nostalgic setting at home.

Tropical Gardens

If your looking to inject some fun to your living space, this is the trend for you. Tropical decorating is all about the WOW factor, but you can easily dial this up or down depending on your personal style. Make an impact with a vibrant feature wall, or, if your not feeling so daring, try statement prints, lampshades or cushions.
