It’s Time to Bring The Outside In

It’s Time to Bring The Outside In

As we focus on trying to make the most of the Great British summer, we begin to find that the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living start to blur. So not to neglect indoor spaces, here’s a few simple ways to incorporate your favourite elements of the outdoors within your home:

Floral Accents

Make every day feel like a special occasion by including some brightly coloured floral accents into your lounge. This simple touch can be inexpensive yet effective, and therefore an ideal step forward in refreshing your home. Introducing an accent chair in a floral fabric, such as our Amelie Snuggler or Isabelle Chair, can add a touch of femininity and enhance a neutral space.Floral Accents

Yellow and green must never been seen?

Bringing yellow into your home can be very uplifting; a perfect reflection of the summertime! As a green-based colour, Citrine is great paired with earthy greens and browns to offset a bold look. Adding a splash of colour can inject personality into your home and make the space feel bigger and brighter!

Mix and match natural materials

For a look that is a little more stripped-back, embrace your surroundings and opt for furniture and accessories that reflect the British countryside. Placing slate and marble accents against a wooden coffee table can create an honest yet sophisticated look that is bound to make you feel more in touch with nature. Opting for a leather sofa over fabric will also boost the impact of this look.
